There are several ways of getting to
Huelgoat:
By plane: There are several flights from the UK to
Brest from where it would take you one hour's drive in a
hire car
By ferry: Brittany Ferries have a regular if
expensive service between Plymouth and Roscoff
By train: The nearest stations are Morlaix and
Carhaix. Morlaix is on the direct line to Paris.
By bus: A daily bus service runs from the two
mentioned train stations and Roscoff ferry port
By car: Look at the
map to see which is your best route!
BY BUS

You might not believe this if you come
from what many call "rip-off" Britain, but since
September 1st 2004 there have been important changes
made to the buses in Finistère. You can now travel
anywhere in the département for just 2 euros! (=
£1.50) Yes, it's true! You can save up to 75% on
previous prices! That means that the daily bus between
Huelgoat and Morlaix will now cost you just 2€ instead of
more than double that for a single journey.
If you want to have a look at the
bus timetables visit the council's website at

Since Septembre 2004, the Conseil
général du Finistère has applied a single fare of 2 € on its
39 line network, except the line from Quimper – Brest. All
passengers can benefit from this single fare for any one way
journey on the route of their choice.
